"Små trin gør en stor"
The motto of SCOSH resonates with the quote.-“Små trin gør en stor” which is Danish for small steps make bigger ones. It is an inspiration from the Butterfly effect. Small changes in one state can lead to larger differences in a later state.
A similar observation was stated by James Clear in his book Atomic Habits which says “Small habits don’t add up. They compound. That’s the power of atomic habits. Tiny changes. Remarkable results.”
We work on the same principle and this can be observed in our logo as well.
On a side note, our founder initially wanted the logo to be an ant which symbolizes teamwork and perseverance.
Our mission is to build a human stack-exchange and a vigorous scientific community. It aims to inculcate scientific temperament amongst the students. For the holistic development of a scientific mind, SCOSH combines its passion for science with humanities and techno-managerial skills.
A vision statement describes the desired future position of the club. The SCOSH family aspires to be recognized nationwide and add immense value to the field of science and technology.
