Look up at the sky and feel microscopic in the vastness of it, especially under the night sky. Those giants are shiny gems decorating the infinite. Through careful observation of the night sky, Galileo was able to zoom in on Jupiter's moons and Saturn's rings. Many centuries later, that attraction survives.
SCOSH, in association with experts from the Surat Astronomy Club, brings stargazing nights to look into the details of these celestial bodies and share the beauty otherwise hidden from the naked eye. Students of all year and branches had an exciting opportunity to see through the telescopes brought in by the Surat Astronomy Club. The participants were highly delighted to see the celestial bodies namely Jupiter, Moon, Venus.
As an amusement to everyone, we all had a chance to witness the International Space Station making a full arc in the night sky, visible to naked eye.
Stargazing is a fun and easy way to disconnect from technology and reconnect with nature. It is time that all space and astronomy lovers gather and experience the grand masterpiece above in the sky.
